The internet can be said as a money machine for some people. Those who are gain a big success on the internet world is automatically gain million dollars. We can take for example the creator of Google or the 26 years old new millionaire who creates facebook and gain million from the advertising. I do not want to take you on a daydreaming and imagining being as rich as the Google owner is, but from the fact, it shows that internet is a promising media to gain dollars. Many people are attracted to use this media as their source of income, but in the fact, 95% of the newbie are give up and think that internet is not work as best as they thought to make money.

Building a business on the internet is not only deal with finding the best website hosting server and advertise our website then we can sit back and relaxes waiting for the money flowing like water. All of 95% of people who fail on the internet business has similar characteristics and reasons. The first reason usually dealing with lack of internet knowledge understanding. The second characteristic found from those people is that they stop learning and not updating their knowledge on the latest online marketing technique so their competitors leave them behind. Focus of marketing becomes the third reason, having a specific focus is proved to be more effective than having multiple marketing system. Perseverance is needed because it takes time to gather customer, although now we have few customers, we should never stop updating our system and work on our internet business because it cannot be done instantly and it becomes the fourth reason.

The fifth reason is dealing with networking. Since internet is a network that connects people, we need other people on the line to help us such as advertising out website or spread information of our products. The last reason why people are failing on internet-based business is that they have no website. Website is needed as our home, with website, we can introduce and give customer complete information related to our products. We cannot only rely on the affiliate marketing, if we want to have profitable internet business, having a website is a mandatory. Even though internet offers million dollars profits, but without proper knowledge and effort, we will only face failure. As a summary, what we should do when we want to get profitable business is gaining and updating our knowledge as much as we can, make a good networking with others, perseverance, and create our own website. By learning from other’s failure, hopefully we can make a profitable internet business.

  1. I can say that the factors you mentioned were most likely focused on the point of view of the business person itself. I would just like to add on how customers contributed on that failure. I noticed that business online depends on the payment medium of the people. Not all people have credit cards. They are still sticking to cash. Just like here in our country, most people don’t have credit cards only cash. that’s why even if somebody can afford buying things online, still it can’t be purchased. Unless all Online marketing websites accept paypal payments. I think it would be better if online business would think of ways on how to cater this kind situation to gather more customer and extend their business in a much wider scope.

  4. The most mistake all newbie’s are doing is that they do what their up-line tells them, to do their sales pitch on everyone they come in contact. The reality is that this people been very fast avoided from friends and family. Everyone is selling something, and in reality people don’t like sales pitches or the next good deals which most time don’t work just to get money from their victims. The other part is that online business is a business and not a hobby or a wish machine, and like any other business a business must be build and focus on customers. Without customer there is no Business. A business is that you offer a service or product people want or need, that you have the solution for their problems. The best business is done with returning customers and their recommendation to others who will bring you more customers. Focus how you can help others, give them more than they expect and follow up with good customer service, take their complain as feedback how you can improve your service. We dealing with people and people are our customer, so treat them right and they treat you generous and you income will explode. You get what you give! Give more and more will return.
